One of the wildest places on earth is the top of Mt Washington, NH. The highest recorded sustained winds in the world were recorded on top of Mt. Washington.
So because of our recent cold snap, some of the observers up on Mt Washington tried an experiment. They posted it on the web, click on the link to see the video of boiling water turning to snow in seconds.
